Star Wars models for DAZ
Images of available Star Wars models for your 3D rendering. Note that these are not downloads but, where possible, download links will be on the pages. Some are hi-res characters and clothing for G8 and G3 models, some are simple objects such as vehicles. I'm hoping this will be a fairly exhaustive look at both free and premium models available for Star Wars fans.

Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong here with these textures? I'm rendering in Kerkythea with the cubic uv checked before rendering. I still can't get the texture to apply evenly across the model and ignore the lines of the model....HELP!

re: your textures. whilst kt can handle uv maps etc, it cannot create them, so it is worth creating your uv maps in your modelling program first, sketchup (i'm assuming this is what your using, am i wrong?)doesn't do uv mapping really, there are some work arounds which basically involve applying positioning the texture to each face in turn. if you do that, when you get in to kerkythea the textures should be in position as set up in sketchup.
if you're not using sketchup, i can't really help, but if you have a uv mapped model, kerkythea can cope with it, you just apply the uv map to the diffuse channel of the material editor.
hope thats helpful
